Life is like a maze, with so many paths to follow.
Yet, we have no idea which way to go.
We take the turn that feels right, only to prove us wrong.
Pride and self- reliance is the enemy of man.
Lack of humility prevents us from looking up.
Through our journey we wonder…
What trial or tribulation awaits us,
how many flaming arrows must we avoid.
Thoughts that often invade our mind,
turning into actions we think we cannot control.
When our back is against the wall, we try to fight long and hard.
We are no match!!!
When darkness approaches and reigns down upon us,
only then do we remember to look up.
We beg for the light and the strength that only He can provide.
After the battle is won we feel grateful as we ponder what we made it through.
Although, if we looked up int the beginning, would we have had a better end?
